Raiders star wideout Davante Adams gave Dallas Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb a huge compliment, listing him as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
During a recent interview with the “I AM ATHLETE” podcast, former NFL WR Brandon Marshall asked Adams to reveal his top-five players at the position. He proceeded to list six players, including Lamb and himself.
The "Top 5" WRs in the NFL according to Davante Adams:

2A) Vikings @JJettas2
2B) Dolphins @cheetah
3) Bills @stefondiggs
4) Jaguars @CalvinRidley1

“I like CeeDee Lamb a lot. He reminds me of myself a lot as far as the way he moves,” Adams said.
Adams comparing himself to Lamb is an excellent sign for Dallas’ 24-year-old pass-catcher. In nine seasons, he has become one of the best wideouts in the league, making six Pro Bowls and being named first-team All-Pro three times. In 2022, he led the NFL in receiving TDs with 14 in 17 games.
Lamb still has a long way to go before he can claim he’s of the same caliber as Adams, but he’s on the right trajectory.
In 17 games last season, the former Oklahoma star caught 107 passes for 1,359 yards and nine receiving TDs, all career highs. He also made his second straight Pro Bowl.
Some might argue that other elite wideouts, such as Cooper Kupp (Rams), Ja’Marr Chase (Bengals) and A.J. Brown (Eagles) are slightly better than Lamb. Nonetheless, Adams believes Lamb will continue to improve and encouraged him to capitalize on another solid season.
“I spoke to him a few times this offseason and just told him to keep doing what he’s doing,” Adams said. “Keep staying with what you’re on because this is going to get you the type of credit and respect you deserve.”
Lamb will continue to entrench himself into the elite wideout conversation if he has another phenomenal season.
